Trikona Trinity Capital plc (“Trikona TC”) is an independent private equity company with a proven, scalable platform to invest in Indian real estate and infrastructure. The company is looking for a marketing and communications executive capable of creating and driving marketing programmes and collateral with basic knowledge and experience of the private equity fund industry and alternative investments.

Trikona Capital is a market leader in deal sourcing, deal partnerships, asset management and capital market financing, and was one of the first companies to create an institutional real estate investment platform designed to capitalise on the emerging Indian real estate opportunity. Trikona TC, one of its leading funds, joined AIM, of the London Stock Exchange, in 2006.

Investments will typically be structured as special purpose vehicles or joint ventures and investments in equity, with a target size of between £5m and £30m per transaction.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity that would suit a strong, entrepreneurial candidate wishing to develop their career in communications within a dynamic and fast-growing company. Their responsibilities will consist of both marketing communications and IR, and through this role they will be given the opportunity to assist in the creation of the next leading private equity brand.

The role will report to the director of corporate communications and work closely with the finance and company secretarial teams, senior management and the company’s external advisers. Knowledge of and interest in India would be advantageous, but not a prerequisite.

Key accountabilities
Assist in the co-ordination of branding initiatives and in creating and driving marketing programmes and collateral.

Liaise with director of corporate communications to develop, write and produce marketing material.

Work with the PR agency to target conference opportunities and co-ordinate level of participation.

Work with Trikona TC’s PR agency to track issues that could impact on the company’s external message, reputation and market position.

Take a proactive role in implementing new marketing initiatives, in conjunction with the marketing director and other advisers.

With manager input, develop strategic communications plans for presentation to business partners.

Develop/sustain strong working relationships with business partners and other internal personnel across all functions of the organisation.

Act as the main IR contact in the absence of director of corporate communications.

Assist with the preparation and organisation of financial presentations and press releases.

Project manage and co-ordinate production of the annual report.

Work with the PR Agency to update investor presentations on a quarterly basis, manage the corporate website and ensure compliance with corporate IR policies and best practice corporate governance.

To work with the PR Agency to monitor analyst and investor perceptions of Trikona TC.

Maintain internal consensus numbers and respond to analyst queries, distribution of NAV reports.

Plan and prepare for client meetings, and follow up with clients subsequent to meetings/conference calls/phone contact. Keep record of contact and actions.

Accompany senior management on investor roadshows and attend investor meetings, where required.

Candidate specification
Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential – as is the ability to define and articulate marketing and communications strategy.

Good degree, ideally having a qualification in communications or a professional accounting qualification.

Skilled facilitator.

Likely to have at least a year’s City experience.

Meticulous attention to detail.

Strong analytical background (financial modelling).

To be able to liaise at all levels of the organisation and work comfortably with senior executives.

Good team-player and ability to work across the organisation, but also able to work independently.

Strong PC skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as confidence in learning new software.
